How we use your personal information

This privacy policy relates to the service ‘VeganTemps’, provided by Xarista Ltd. VeganTemps faciliates vegan temp candidates and vegan companies to connect and collaborate.

Our commitment to protecting your personal information

Whenever you provide personal information to a third party, that party is legally obliged to use your information in line with data protection law.

We take the security of your personal information seriously. We’ve set up security measures, policies and procedures such as:

·       we train all staff in data and security protection

·       monitor our platform to keep your personal information secure

·       follow good practice guidance provided by the National Technical Authority

·       we use legally binding agreements with all organisations we use

·       our staff agree to security and confidentiality policies before they’re given access to personal information

The VeganTemps service and who we are

 VeganTemps facilitates:

  ·       Vegan temp candidates to leave their details (name, contact details, preference of temp activity) to be considered for a vegan temp role

·       Vegan temp candidates to learn about featured vegan temp roles and occasional updates on the latest temp roles and vegan employers

·       Vegan companies to list temp roles they are looking to fill

·       Vegan companies to be matched with relevant vegan temp candidates and initiate contact with temp candidates

Xarista Ltd

Xarista Ltd was incorporated in 2018.

Our goal is to make it easy for users (individuals) to find what they are looking for online, and create relevant experiences in collaboration with third-party companies. 

Xarista is responsible for managing:

·       The Xarista website (https://xarista.io/), which provides information about Xarista 

·       The VeganTemps website (https://www.vegantemps.com/), which provides information about the VeganTemps service

·       The lifecycle of the Xarista and VeganTemps services, from user onboarding to in-live functionality / services and potential account closure.

Third-party companies 

Xarista Ltd is partnering with third-party companies. 

The third-party companies are responsible for deciding what (additional) information they capture about users.

Please note, Xarista does currently not use cookies to track or store information about you.

How we use your personal data and why

The processing of your personal data is necessary to provide you with the VeganTemps service.

You won't be able to use VeganTemps unless you have agreed to its Terms & Conditions and this Privacy Policy.

The organisation that is the data controller and/or data processor of your personal data will depend on the information in question.

We use organisations under contract to process your personal information. These organisations agree to keep your information secure and only use it to help them verify your identity.

We may need to share your personal information if we are required to do so by law.

Where this data is stored and processed

We only store this personal data within the UK.

In some circumstances we may use services who may process this data outside of the UK. In this instance, Xarista contractually ensures the supplier / business partner protects any personal data in line with GDPR and Xarista’s requirements. This can be done in a number of different ways, for instance by ensuring:

·       the country the personal data is sent is approved by the European Commission

·       the supplier / business partner may have signed a contract based on “model contractual clauses” or “binding corporate rules” approved by the European Commission, obliging them to protect your personal information, or

·       where the supplier / business partner is located in the US, it may be a certified member of the EU-US Privacy Shield scheme.

·       correct your personal data errors or omissions

·       request we delete your details (only for mailing list membership(s) and feedback & surveys if you withdraw your consent)

·       request we restrict our use of your personal data (for example, if you think it's inaccurate and needs to be corrected before it's used)
